Hi! I’m Dr. Christopher Fong and I’m a practicing Clinical Psychologist. I ’ve survived three career transitions in my life even before the pandemic.
From a conductor of a symphony orchestra to a clinician specializing in mental health and now currently an Academic/Consultant/Coach.
On my own personal journey, I remember the constant dilemma of being faced with a deluge of questions in my monkey mind such as ““What is the road ahead for me?”, “Given my current state, am I stable enough to make the change?”, and “What if I don’t become successful as a psychologist or end up having psychotherapy done on me instead?”.
I sought the help of prominent coaches, expecting a tool that was detailed enough to aid me in the whole planning process, but ended up not getting information that was relevant.
Thus, I took time to do my own painstaking research and developed an evidence-based robust model to address multi-cultural issues in the context of counselling and life-coaching.
I term this W.H.A.T which explores the hygiene factors of motivation, what inspires you to leap out of bed every morning and put a spring in your step. Your big “Why”.
This is a Personal Risk Inventory (PRI) assessment tool that takes the guess work out of what makes you tick, and what makes your life work. From personal experience, now I know that at each transition or pit stop, there are four critical things to consider. I invite you to discover what these four critical things are in my new Ebook.
